2 Social Emotional Development Looks at parent to see how they react. Look at pictures while you name them Repeat an action that made you laugh You can buy animals books to make the baby learn new sounds and know the animals. Make actions to make the baby laugh

3 Cognitive Cognitive consist on; Moving/playing with toys Using your hands Recognizing some body parts on dolls and her/him body. Repeating the babies name so their aware of what they are being called by Say their name and have them respond to there name. Helping the baby understand the dolls features will build up a better idea of what they baby is trying to take in from what your saying, and trying to learn. The best way to get the baby becoming active, is to get her/him playing with their hands. That can involve; Buying play dough so they get a better understanding of how to use their hands. Get blocks so the baby can get use to using his/her hands.

4 Make different sounds, and noises. Make eye contact with them. Linguistic Has a vocabulary consists of mom and dad and three other words. Talk to them, but make sure you are listening and responding to them.

5 Fine Motor Building up better strategies for fine motor can be: *Use hands while playing with a toy *Give him/her containers for them to open, so they are using their hands *Stack blocks You should be buying toys that involved movement in the hands

6 Gross motor Crawling up the stairs, and holding on to things while walking is a step forward into the baby learning how to walk better Encourage her/him to walk around, without holding onto things. Babies are capable for lots of things, but sometimes we underestimate them.

7 Safety of the baby To make sure your baby is in a safe home, make sure to do this; have all choking hazards or cords, sharp or breakable objects not be in reach of child. cover all electrical sockets always secure your child in their car seat. You may need to distract them during this to make sure that they don’t undo the buckle lock up all detergents and household cleaners or store them out of reach keep the toilet seat down and keep the bathroom door closed.

8 Importance of play Playing is important for the baby to learn how to become independent and to obtain the skills to becoming a healthy child towards playing *Buy animal books to make the baby know sounds, and know the animals

9 Nutritious snack for the child Encourage your child to try new foods and eat them yourself. To help your child have a healthy life style, it recommends to provide a balance and variety of food choices from the major food groups. A good meal would for a 15 year old baby would be; 1 slice of bread; ½ pita or tortilla; 125 mL (1/2 cup) cooked rice, pasta, or couscous; 30 g cold breakfast cereal, or 175 g(3/4 cup) hot breakfast cereal.
