2 Unit Summary The topic is about hair and scalp diseases, hair cutting and hair styling. The topic is about hair and scalp diseases, hair cutting and hair styling. The students will do the demonstration on how to apply treatments needed on the diseases and proper hair cutting. 5 Timeline of Entire Unit Plan Day 1 The teacher will gave an oral presentation about “What makes a person beautiful”?. Students will form into groups and share their ideas. They will make a graphic organizer about the ideas they gather.

6 Day 2. After presentation, the teacher introduce the new lesson and the objectives. Another group activity, each group will given a sub-topic of the lesson to be reported on a power point presentation. The presentation of the graphic organizer of each group. 7 Day 3 Day 3 The teacher allow the students to surf information to the library or computer room. Students have the freedom to prepare their power point presentation more creative and informative. 8 Day 4 Day 4 While each group prepare their presentation, the teacher will do a draw lots for the sequence of the presentation of the group. The rubrics are discuss by the teacher to inform the students. Presentation of the reports.

9 Day 5 Teacher announces the best presentor of the report. The teacher introduce the invited expert beauty salon hair stylist on the class to do the demonstration regarding the topic. Students instructed to bring the materials needed for their return demonstration.

10 Day 6 Checking of the materials then doing the return demonstration of the students to their partner about examining and putting treatments on the hair in their laboratory room. Teacher check the performance of the students.

11 Day 7 The teacher check the materials needed for the hair cutting then return demonstration again of the students to their the same partner. The teacher check the output of the students. Group activity again for the next project’s students will be done. They will have an artistic performance or fashion show and present it to the class.

12 Day 8 Students plan what their going to do for the fashion show. Teachers announce that they invite an expert on beauty salon stylists to be the judges during fashion show.

13 Day 9 The teacher gives the whole period to the class to prepare and practice for the fashion show presentation.

14 Day 10 The day for the fashion show presentation. Each group will present their models that have different hair style and also the costume that fit to their models. The best output will given be a reward.
