They escape because the slaves were not treaded right like the white They wanted there freedom and not being slaves anymore They might run away if they had a family and the owner will might take away there and split it apart Some slaves escape from slavery because there owner will be beating them up

3. How did slave escape? Some slaves escape slavery by escaping at night Others slaves escape or are free they might help escape others slaves that are not free to be free They also took the underground railroad to escape slavery The underground railroad really help the slaves escape from slavery to freedom

4. What was hard about escaping? Not getting found if found extreme punishment Not getting punishment How to find food How to find shelter Slaves hunters

5. What resources did slaves use to help them? Big dipper Little dipper The birds because they go north and the slaves will follow them to freedom People that are free or escape help others escape By disguises there self Example:  Henry Brown escape slavery by disguises his self and mailed him to freedom

6. What happens if they got caught? Harsh punishment Example: Working longer Whipped Putting heavy wooden frames in there feet Cutting there legs for they would not escape anymore Kill them

7. who tried to catch them? Slaves hunters Dogs Bounty hunter, hunt for money only

8. Why did they catch them? They only catch them for money they didn’t care about the slaves it was what they made for a living
