1 Cotton: From Farm to Fabric A farmer plants the seeds, then cares for the cotton plants and finally harvests the cotton lint.

2 Seeds are removed from the cotton at the gin. Next the cotton is spun into yarn and woven into fabric.

3 Yarn and cloth are dyed and then sent to mills where they are made into clothing, bedding, and other things.
