Balancing reactions (p17) Steps: 1. Write element list underneath arrow. 2. Take atom inventory on each side of arrow 3. Use multipliers (coefficients) to balance elements. Balance H second to last and O last. If you struggle to balance and are left with ONLY O, double all your coefficients.
