2. Hi. I’m Penny and I traveled around the world with my friends in the Second grade.

3. As we go through my journal, my friends will introduce themselves and tell you where we went, why we went there and what we saw.

4. I really missed the South Pole, but I enjoyed our journeys. I can’t wait for you to see our pictures, so – LET’S GO!

5. Our first stop, the continent of Europe.

6. Penny and I are in Greece. We are here visiting my Papou in Karpathos. We went swimming and we saw some goats. We stayed at my Yia Yia’s house. I’m Michael.

7. Penny and I are in Ireland. We are here because my dad is Irish. We visited a castle. I’m Alexandra.

8. I’m Melissa. Penny and I are in Ireland. We are here because my great grandfather was born here. We are visiting the Holestone. It is also called the Marriage Stone or the Stone of Love.

9. I’m Sarah. Penny and I are in Ireland. We are here because my grandfather is all Irish. We are visiting a lot of castles.

10. I’m Thomas. Penny and I are in Hungary. We are here because my Aunt Ildi was born here. Penny and I are visiting some castles and a church where one of my relatives got married.

11. I’m Camela. Penny and I are in Italy. We are here because my father’s family comes from here. We are visiting my family and some great historical places. We went to the beach and ate lots of good homemade food.

12. I’m Samantha. Penny and I are in England. We are here because my daddy comes from here. We are visiting Hampton Court Palace.

13. Our second stop, the continent of Asia

14. I’m Matthew. Penny and I are in China. We are here because I like China. Penny and I traveled in a boat called a Junk.

15. Our third stop, the continent of Africa.

16. I’m Brandon. Penny and I are in Egypt. We are here because I like the Pyramids. We visited all of the pyramids and learned about the Egyptians.

17. I’m Nicholas. Penny and I are visiting Egypt. My family isn’t from here. I am just interested in the Sphinx. We saw the Sphinx. Penny even saw an old friend.

18. I’m Brandon. Penny and I are in Ghana. My family comes from here. I was here before and it is very peaceful. We are visiting the zoo. We are staying at my father’s house.

19. Our fourth stop, the continent of North America.

20. Penny and I are in Nova Scotia, Canada. We are here because my dad’s family is from here. We toured Nova Scotia. I’m Alex.

21. Penny and I are in Canada. We are visiting my cousins. We saw the Asbestos Mines. I’m Jonathan.

22. I’m Mariah. Penny and I are in Nova Scotia. We are here because one of my family members lived here. We took a tour to see the sights around Nova Scotia.

23. I’m Skyler. Penny and I are in Story Land. We are here because I thought it would be fun to go on the rides with her. We also got a chance to see Cinderella’s Castle.

24. I’m Jimmy. Penny and I are at Fenway Park. We are here because it has many interesting things, such as the Big Green Monster. Penny and I are playing baseball.

25. I’m Samantha. Penny and I are in Washington, DC. I came here before with my family and I loved it. I thought that Penny would love it, too. We are at the White House.

26. Penny and I are visiting San Francisco. We are visiting my dad’s cousin. We are at the Golden Gate Bridge. I’m Henry.

27. I’m Destinee. Penny and I are at the San Diego Zoo in California. We are visiting here because I was born in California. We visited the giraffes first. Then Penny visited some of her relatives.

28. Penny and I are in Mexico. We went there because my dad is Spanish. We are visiting the Tulum Pyramids. I’m Kasandra.

29. I’m Taylor. Penny and I are in Florida. I wanted her to see Florida because my grandparents landed here when they came from Spain. We are at Disney World, riding lots of fun rides and seeing the great characters.

30. I’m Taryn. Penny and I are in Puerto Rico. My great grandfather Juan was a firefighter here when he was young. I showed Penny the fort in Old Puerto Rico and the Fire Station Museum, too.

31. I’m Terence. Penny and I are in Jamaica. We are here because my grandpa was born here. We are at the beach.

32. I’m Celina. Penny and I are in San Salvador, El Salvador. We are visiting a place where my uncle and I went. We’ve been swimming all day.

33. The last stop, the continent of Antarctica. Home at last!
