BCC&I, India’s oldest institution of its kind tracing its origin to 1833, has immensely strengthened its overseas outreach and has, through its multiple fora and international Environment and Energy Conclaves, been encouraging commercial free discussions on technology. The Chamber is also focusing on Climate Change mitigation and action on the ground in the context of burgeoning needs of incremental energy consumption (albeit efficiently) and the need to adopt sound environmental management practices so as to minimize the environmental footprint, especially in business and industrial operations.
