2 Art Project select from one of the following pieces of artwork prepare a class presentation in which you: – read aloud a literal translation of the lines indicated that have to do with the image you selected – read aloud the Latin lines in dactylic hexameter – explain (write a paragraph, i.e. 5+ sentences beforehand and read aloud to class) what your picture has to do with the corresponding Latin lines – introduce the artist who is responsible for the image, where he/ she’s from, what year he/ she was born, and three other interesting facts about the artist – introduce the artwork itself, its title, what year it was created, where one can now go see it, and three other interesting facts about the work of art not already mentioned anywhere else in the presentation.
