2 About the Collection… Collection organized in 1995 Owned by Kansas State Department of Education Funding provided in part by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Bilingual Education and Minority Affairs, Title VII grant Housed at William Allen White Library, Emporia State University

3 About the Collection… Purpose of the collection –Provide materials for teaching English to speakers of other languages –Provides resources for bilingual, multi- cultural, and migrant education

4 About the Collection… Contains over 3,836 ESOL/BE titles including: –Textbooks & teachers’ editions –Bi-lingual books –Children’s fiction –Games –Audio & video tapes in English and over 30 languages –Curriculum development resources
