1 IB Alumni Relations at a glance

2 Purpose: a resource for IB graduates from around the world and an opportunity to broadly raise the profile of IB schools The majority of registered IB alumni (though not all) graduated after 2005 when the IB began an effort to establish an alumni network that encompasses all schools and all programmes Registered alumni agree to receive correspondence directly from the IB by providing a valid email address and are kept up-to-date through a quarterly newsletter To date, more than 26,000 alumni have registered for the alumni network This includes more than 4,800 alumni from the class of 2012 – and this number is still growing Each year registration peaks in July along with the release of exam results for May candidates Since 2005 approximately 3% of each graduating class of IB diploma programme candidates has chosen to register for the global IB alumni network Alumni network snapshot Page 1
