Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life and worship.
Rom 12:12 “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer”

Supreme love will cause a worshiper to want to do the will of God in everything.
Supreme reverence will cause one to fear above everything else to disobey him.
Supreme obedience will cause one to take heed to everything God has commanded.
Supreme love, reverence, and obedience will cause one to pray often.
Elements of acceptable prayer.
Praise to God.

Prayer is the natural expression of every feeling and grateful heart.
The character and dignity of God requires reverence.
We recognize the dependence on God for needed blessings.
Man’s highest privilege is speaking to God. - also - Man’s highest privilege is God speaking to man through His Word.
