14 Recipe Criteria: Find a recipe and copy and paste it from culture grams/internet Add clipart/picture Do google image search to see if you can find actual picture of your recipe—copy/paste on this slide Cite your source—last slide Ingredients: –8 ounces butter 8 ounces sugar 3 eggs 3/4 teaspoon almond extract 3 tablespoons golden syrup 3 ounces finely ground almonds 4 cups unbleached white flour 1 teaspoon baking soda Pinch salt 12 ounces milk 2 cups golden raisins 2 1/2 cups currants Zest of 3 oranges Zest of 2 lemons Directions: Cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Beat in the syrup, almond extract, and ground almonds. Reserving 1/2 cup of the flour, sieve the remainder with baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to butter mixture alternately with the milk, beating well after each addition. Coat raisins and currants with reserved flour and fold into batter along with orange and lemon zest. Mix well and pour into a well-buttered and floured tube pan, distributing batter evenly. Bake at 300°F for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. Let pan cool for 45 minutes and then turn out onto wire rack to cool further
