1. Autumn activities in Prague

2. Hi, I am Ted and now I will tell you how we celebrate autumn. I live in the Czech Republic, in a town called Říčany. This town is near Prague. Prague is the capital. In autumn we do some interesting activitis and I wil tell you about some of them The best activities are : lantern procession, kite flying, st. Martin´s goose.

3. Lantern procession: on that day we go out in the evening. We carry lanterns and we light candles in them. We walk with lanterns and we light candles in them.

4. Kite Flying: This is a very popular activity for kids. This tradition starts when kids go to a field, throw their kites towards the sky and carry the string.Then they try to keep the kites in the air for as long as possible.

5. St. Martin´s goose: this tradition is associated with the feast of st. Martin (st. Martin´s Day). Now I will tell you the legend. St. Martin was disturbed during the sermon by a goose and now the gooses are punished so they must suffer on a pan.

6. The autumn in Prague is the most ralaxing of all seasons because everything is better and everybody likes it. All sights are prettier than in other seasons. The best things for Prague tourists to try here in autumn are st. Martins´s goose, kite flying and lantern procession.
