3 What is an E-book Repository? An E-book Repository is type of digital library in which collections are stored in digital formats (as opposed to print, microform, or other media) and accessible by computers. The digital content may be stored locally, or accessed remotely via computer networks.

4 My Solution To provide small book publishing companies with an IT system that allows for the digital storage (repository) and sale of e-books through e-commerce systems. This will not replace a computer system that may already in place at a publishing company it will be an additional system and will be kept separate, however there may need to be integration for billing systems and customer databases to the current system. The publishing companies will also be able to use the e-commerce solution to sell hardcopies of books.
