2 In the darkness of the still night, in the dawning of the daylight, in the myst’ry of creation, creator God, you are there. In the breath of ev’ry being, in the birthing and the growing, in the earth and all its fullness, creator God, you are there. Creator God Margaret Rizza – Rivers of Peace

3 In the homeless and the hungry, in the broken and the lonely, in the grieving of your people, creator God, you are there. In the tears and in the heartache, in the love through which we serve you, in the anguish of the dying, creator God, you are there. Creator God

4 In our hearts and in our thinking, in the longing and the dreaming, in the yearning of our heartbeat, creator God, you are there. In the love for one another, in the sharing of our being, in receiving and forgiving, creator God, you are there.

5 Creator God In our joys, our hopes, our healing, in awakening to revealing, in your call and our responding, creator God, you are there. In our prayer and in our service, in our praise and in our worship, in your love that is eternal, creator God, you are there.

6 The Cosmos refers to the entire universe, every dimension of time and space, spiritual and material. The cosmos is both the glittering galaxies that humans have begun to explore as well as distant domains far beyond our imagination. In addition, there are unknown domains deep within each minute molecule we have yet to comprehend. All creation is one sacred cosmos, a spiritual universe filled with God’s presence.

7 L1: We invite creation to worship with us... Response: We invite glittering galaxies high in the sky to radiate the splendour of God’s presence. L1: We call distant domains of space to celebrate with us... Response: We invite nebula, nova and black holes to thank God for their fascinating formation. L1 We summon that piece of stardust called Earth... Response: To pulse with the rhythm of God’s presence and celebrate God’s glory in this planet garden.

8 L2 We invite millions of living species to dance with life... Response: The turtle, the toad and the elephant, the earthworm, the ant and the dragonfly. L2 We invite every creature in the web of creation... Response: To consciously connect with others in this community called the cosmos. Name, silently or aloud, other creatures or parts of the cosmos and invite them to join us in praising our Creator. Response: We praise and thank you for.....

9 L3: We are conscious of our place in the cosmos... Response: We remember moments of wonder, sensing the infinite world of space, connecting with endless networks in time and feeling the mystery of the moment. L3: We remember and rejoice... Response: Thank you, God, for making us aware of our special place in your web of creation
