It speaks of the story of middle-aged slave, named Uncle Tom and his family. Their brutal lives of slaves and their fight for freedom. 5. The book was best selling next to the Bible. WHAT WAS UNCLE TOM?

It also showed how Christian love could overcome slavery of human beings 4. This book became the foundation in starting the Civil War between the North and South. WHY WAS IT WRITTEN?
