The WSS wizard will add it to all the appropriate SQL Server roles. Application Pool Security Account for Provisioning: A domain account used for running the application pool in IIS 6.0. Application Pool Security Account for extending Project Web Access: A domain account used for running an application pool. Site Collection Owner Account: This account has administrative rights over a WSS site collection. This account is required when prompted for a primary collection owner when creating a WSS site collection

Has database creator and security administrator permission on SQL Server. Project Server Administrator Account: Used for this Project Server 2007 instance. Sharepoint Search Service Account: Used to activate searching on all WSS Servers All accounts are setup under an Active Directory organizational unit.
