3. THE PYRAMIDS WERE BUILT AS MAGIFICENT TOMB TO HOLD THE PHAROH’S BODY AFTER HIS DEATH. TO MAKE SURE THAT HE WOULD GO TO THE AFTER WORLD IT WAS BUILT ON THE WEST BANK OF THE NILE, WHERE THE SUN SET. MOST OF THE BUILDERS WORKED FOR THE KING A FULL MONTH EVERY YEAR ON ONE OF HIS BUILDING PROJECTS.
