2.  Median: the middle number in the number line  Quartiles: values that divide a data set into four equal parts.  Interquartile range: the difference between the upper and lower quartiles  Lower quartile: is the median of the lower half of the data  Upper quartile: the median of the upper half of the data  Box and Whisker Plot: a graph that summarizes the set of data by displaying it along a number line

3.  First put the list of numbers in order  Then find the median  After that cut the list into four equal parts (these cuts are known as quartiles)

5.  Find the 3 quartiles.. 5,9,3,6,8,1,6

7.  Find the interquartile range… 1,3,5,6,6,8,9
