3 Swing Dance cont.  Swing dancers that were ladies were called ‘Flappers’  They wore loose clothes so they could move fast

4 Swing Music  Swing music was also known as Jazz or the Blues.  It was upbeat and exciting for fast dancing and a happy atmosphere

6 Swing Dance Today  Competition uses Swing Dances  Many still used today  Used in movies

7 Swing Music Today  Plays in restaurants and at coffee shops  There are many jazz bands still play swing
