Last Tuesday night there was a break in at the Big Mac systems computer store and the cops have suspected you as the thief.

As you leave school you go to your locker to get your backpack. When you open your locker you notice your Minnesota Twins cap and jacket are missing. Thinking that you can tell your parents later that night, you proceed outside to your bike.

As you prepare to leave, you note that the front wheel has been slashed. Should you take the bike to the nearest bike shop to replace the tire or just walk home? Choose Yes to replace the tire. Choose No to walk home.

So you head down to Gill’s bike shop. “Well if it isn’t my favorite customer.” Gill says. “Hey Gill what’s up.” you say. In your opinion, Gill is the best bike mechanic in the city. He is a tall fat man with hands covered in oil from hours of work. “Something is up with my bike.” you say. “Let me see it… Yup looks like someone took a knife and cut it open.” says Gill. “You want me send the bill to your Dad or do you want to pay out of pocket?” Choose yes to pay out of pocket. Choose no to bill your Dad.

So you decided to just walk the bike home. After a few blocks you change your mind and just go to Gill’s bike shop to get the tire replaced anyway.

Your parents are both lawyers. Your dad is in Real-Estate law and your mom is a divorce lawyer. Both of them started the law firm of Bean & Bean before you were born. You walk into the office and greet your dog, Ben, a mutt you rescued from being put in the pound just 3 years before. Then you walk up to your Dad's office and give him the bill. “What’s this?” he asks. “The bill for a new tire.” “I don’t have time for this now, we will talk about this over dinner. But this is what I'm thinking. You go back to the shop and pay him now.”

You leave the office and go back to Gill’s. “You’re back!” Gill says. “Yep. My Dad says I have to pay the bill myself. I'll give you ten dollars today and the rest a.s.a.p.” “Ok, pick any tire you want.” Three minutes later you are racing back to the office.

“I can pay now.” “Ok.” Gill says. “I’ll give you 10 bucks now and the other 8 a.s.a.p.” I say. “Ok, pick any tire you want.” Gill says. Shortly after you’re speeding down Main Street on your bike with the new tire. Soon you arrive home.

You got to school the next day like normal and went to your locker and went to your first class. Five minutes after you walk into class the secretary calls the room and asks you to go see the Principal. You go to the office and see two men in black coats. “Sit down.” one says. You do so. “I am Detective Slater and this is my partner Detective Hamilton. We are from the Police Department.” “We got a random call last night about the break in at Big Mac Systems last week and all our evidence points to you.”

“Ridiculous, He would never do such a thing!” Said Principal Gladwell. “Relax.” said Slater “We’re not going to do anything yet. I’m just saying that all the evidence we have points him.” You turn your gaze to the principal “Can I call my parents?” Click Yes if she let you call your parents. Click No if she does not. YES NO

Since she won’t let you call your parents, you ask what the detectives want. “We want to search your locker.” Says Detective Slater. Choose Yes if you let them search. Choose No if you do not. YESNO

“Sure.” the principal says. You walk to the other end of the room and take out your phone and call your parents’ office, but no one answered. Since that failed, you try your Uncle Ike. Five minutes later he’s there wanting to know what’s going on. The two detectives explain every thing and say that they want to search your locker. Choose Yes if you let them. Choose No if you don’t. YES NO

When you unlock your locker for the detectives, everything is different. Books where they shouldn't be, your hat and jacket are missing, but the detectives notice three Samsung Galaxy Notes on the top shelf. Then they take you back to the Principal’s office. They ask you “Were you on main street the night of the break in?” “No. I have never been inside the store.” click handcuffs

Since you said no to searching your locker, the detectives show a warrant to the Principal to search your locker anyway. Inside the locker everything is different. Books where they shouldn't be, your hat and jacket are missing, but the detectives notice three Samsung Galaxy Notes on the top shelf. Then they take you back to the Principal’s office. They ask you “Were you on main street the night of the break in?” “No. I have never been inside the store.”

The detectives ask you to go with them to the Police Station. Your parents meet you there. The CSI from the lab brings the detectives some new evidence. They found finger prints that were not yours on the stolen items. The Detectives say you can go home - no charges are filed. You are free to go.
