8 Listeria Listeria is a a type of food poisoning. The germs that cause it are found in the soil. It can be very dangerous to pregnant women, babies and old people.

9 Most people try to keep food fresh by putting it in the fridge, BUT Listeria germs are unusual in that they will happily grow even at cool temperatures.

Draw a table ready for the results that you are going to record. (HINT! – will you only record the results from your own experiment ?– or will you need to record results from other people’s experiment as well? Why?)
