3 Goal 1-Duty-free lunch period  Lunchroom monitor in cafeteria for 11 hours per week  Teacher assistants eat lunch with kindergarten students  Teacher assistant provides support for 5 th grade lunch  Zero office referrals for cafeteria behavior

4 Goal 2 – Instructional Planning  Monthly half-day planning  Monthly 90-minute planning  45 minutes M, T, Th, F  Data discussions during staff meetings once a month  EC teachers meeting weekly with regular education teachers  TD teacher attending planning meetings

5 Goal 3 – Positive School Climate  Bullying Prevention Week in October  Monthly House Meetings – This month’s theme was Filling a Bucket  Social skills lessons during half-day planning (Evosevich and Isamat) and teachers having class meetings to address issues  Daily recess – Teachers cannot take away recess as a punishment  School Health Team – Started meeting monthly in December.

6 Goal 4 - 70% of the students K-3 will meet or exceed their Target Growth Goal in Reading as measured by TRC Reading Levels.  Waiting for TRC testing results.  67% of students at or above the Norm Grade Level Mean RIT on MAP Reading assessment.

7 Goal 5 - 60% of the students K-5 will meet their Target Growth Goal in Math as measured by the MAP Assessment.  McAlpine saw an increase in the percent of proficient students from Fall to Winter in math.  Fall: 41.82% proficient  Winter: 63.66% proficient  Increase: 21.85%. Top five in South Learning Community

8 Goal 6 – Meeting the needs of all learners  Teachers participating in boys adrift discussions to learn about working with male students  Ms. Young offering professional development on differentiation  Mrs. Davis training staff on using data to differentiate lessons and activities for all students

9 Goal 7 – Mastery Grading  Teachers providing reteaching and reassessment for students who score below an 84% on benchmark assessments  Enrichment/remediation block allows for differentiated support for students  Hired two tutors to prepare students for EOG testing  Working with the ASEP to hire two teachers to tutor during the after-school program
