2  The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History provides a great deal of entertainment and knowledge. The information this building holds starts from the beginning of time to today’s era.  The Smithsonian was created by James Smithson in 1846.

3  The Smithsonian was created for the sole purpose of educating the youth of today about the world of yesterday, today, and the near future.  The Smithsonian is located in Washington, D.C. It extends from 3rd to 14th Street between Constitution Avenue and Independence Avenue.

4  There is a wide variety of relics at rest in the Smithsonian building. For example, it holds priceless jewels, stuffed prehistoric beasts, creatures of the sea, and statues of historical figures.

5 One of the most prized possessions of the Smithsonian is the Hope Diamond. This diamond is Also, the dresses of our first ladies reside there. 6  The museum is a widely visited station of learning. Over 5 million people visit each year. The admission is free and no tickets are required. It opens from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm. The hours extend over the summer days.
