New England is well known for Maple Syrup, paper, and fish New England is also known for tourism Hartford Connecticut is known as an insurance center Maine is known for harvesting trees from their huge forests this is a primary industry. Two chief minerals found in New England are granite and marble. Boston is known for publishing books. This is a secondary industry.
