1 How to prepare for International Orientation Week! Laurier International

2 What is Laurier International? Laurier International is an office where international students can come in to get help from the friendly staff and peer mentors We plan events for international students as well as assist them with their adjustment to life in Canada Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Our office is located in Arts 2A01 You can contact the office through phone (519-884-0710 ext: 2227 ) or email (laurierinternational@wlu.ca)laurierinternational@wlu.ca

3 What is International O Week? International Orientation week is a week dedicated to events that will help international students adjust to life at Laurier IO Week will be from August 25 th - August 30 th Events include: Trip to Niagara Falls, a barbeque dinner, campus tours, medical information sessions, cultural academic transition sessions, a movie night, and MUCH MORE! Food will be provided, students can live in residence for free during the week! Registration link International students at Niagara Falls! Students enjoying the outdoor Barbeque dinner!

4 International Peer Mentors They are a group of upper year students dedicated to making an international student’s experience at Laurier the best possible They help coordinate the many events at Laurier International, and can answer questions about campus Every international student is assigned a peer mentor, if you ever have any questions, please reach out to them!
