2 INFORMATION Germany consists of 16 federal states (Länder), and its capital and largest city is Berlin.The State has an area of ​​ 357 021 km ², offering a moderate climate. With over 80 million citizens is the most populous country in the European Union. It is leading in terms of economic and political state of Europe.
