1. In 2012, Bethany King and Sophie Stevenson saw a television programme about children and adults in other parts of the world who didn’t have spectacles (glasses). This meant that the children couldn’t learn and the adults couldn’t see well enough to work to earn money for their families. Bethany and Sophie found out about a charity called Vision Aid and organised a collection.

3. Families go hungry because adults cannot see well enough to work to earn money.

5. As you can see I got my glasses, and now I can see everything. Thank you for bringing them for me!

6. Over 200 pairs of spectacles were collected and sent away to Vision Aid! We want to beat that fantastic total!
