Creating a Weekly Meal Plan on a Budget… 1.Choose foods that can be stretched and included in many meals. Rice, frozen veggies, pasta, canned goods, spices meat. 2. If you’re cramped on time, find foods that can be made early and kept for 2-3 days without spoiling. Slow cooker, make meals in bulk. 3. Choose food that you like. 4. Meal planning becomes easier the more you do it.

Grocery Shopping Hints… 1. Stick to the outer ring of the store- healthier foods are here. 2. Buy ONLY what is on your list! 3. Frozen veggies are better than no veggies at all. 4. Grab a store flyer on your way in to see what is on sale. 5. DO NOT GO WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY!!!
