Chain of Command: The flow of authority and responsibility within an organization, military and civilian. From the highest ranking positions to the lowest ranking positions. When solving a problem, start at the lowest level of the chain of command as possible. Let’s look at the chain of command here at Corsicana High School

Our Principal, Mr. O’Neil

Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) Lieutenant Colonel Mackey

Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) Master Sergeant Hardie

Assistant To the ASI C/Col Corbin Kirgis

Corps commander, Second Semester, school year 2013-2014 C/Col Shaquon Ward

Vice-Corps commander, first semester, school year 2013-2014 C/Lt Col Dyamond Dunbar Picture not available.

Cadet Command Chief Master Sergeant Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Daminion Sullivan Picture not available

Within each class period, also known as flights, we have the following: Flight Commanders Flight Sergeants Element Leaders

So, if you had a problem within your flight, who would you start with in the chain of command? Hopefully you said element leader.

Why not the flight commander or the corps commander – oh heck, why not the school principal?
