Introduction These pictures (= products of the German Art class) were designed by the students of the Schwalmgymnasium in Treysa for the competition "Spritfresser" (excessive use of petrol in means of transport). They were awarded a prize by BUND. (Bund Umwelt und Natur Deutschland, an environmentally active group in Germany) We have re-elaborated these shocking images in our Comenius 1 Linguistic Project together with our partners of I.T.A. "G. Garibaldi", Macerata, Italy, as we have had a core mission: inspiring people to care about the planet for themselves, their children and their future grandchildren. In fact our posters aim at enhancing analysis and debates on our everyday environmental problems in order to find out new sustainable solutions for making our life more green, and therefore to create a positive effect on the health and welfare of our communities.
