3. Inlet parameters Oglio inflow – 0.174 ppt; 19 degC, 15 m 3 /s. – Diurnal oscillation in salinity, temperature and flow rate. Channel inflow – 0.056 ppt; 14 degC, 48 m 3 /s. – Diverted 20km upstream to hydropower station.

4. Transect at inlet Temperature Microstructure Salinity Dissolved Oxygen

5. Transects Some transects, upto 3km ofshore, clearly show the low salinity inlet signal.

6. Drogue Release Drogue trajectory matches well with low salinity Velocity comparison with shear waves. Oglio inflow drogues travelled east.

7. Future work Higher resolution transects. Compensate salinity for Iseos ionic composition.
