2  What do we mean by the word “BE”?  In English grammar, each sentence must have a verb. Some sentences may have one or more than one verb. In sentences that have two verbs, the first one is helping verb and the second is the main verb…. Example ( he is writing a story)  The first is helping verb(is) and the second is the main verb (writing)  A grammar rule { sentences that have two verbs, the first is helping verb and the second is the main verb}
