The letter is going to make a suggestion on how the school, restaurant or market can make a change so their customers can have healthier choices. Your letter will need to be written in standard letter format.

Let your child’s school know that the new USDA guidelines state that ½ of our plate (1 meal) should consist of fruits and vegetables. Write to your favorite restaurant and suggest they include more low-fat menu items.
