2  SRIB= sounding rocket interface board, which Keith is making  PEM= polarimeter electronics box (3 outputs)  A=analog, D=digital for outputs (not AC/DC!)  Isolated DC-DC converters are the best option, since linear regulators dissipate power as heat  The PCB should be about 6”x12” or smaller  Copper heat sinks work well in space due to conduction

3  Should ground for everything be chassis ground, or will isolated regulator outputs have floating ground?  Have you decided on 3-line serial vs. I 2 C?  Should all components specifically say “isolated?” We chose them as if they did.  What is the factor of safety for currents?  Can we use an op amp buffer for the DAC output rather than using variable regulators? Non-linear isolated variable regulators with enough current are hard to find.  How important are rippling tolerances?  What are your priorities as far as trade-offs go with components?  (List of part numbers we want to run by him)
