6 IQ vs. EQ Cognitive intelligence (IQ)
Focuses on the ability to act purposefully, think rationally and deal effectively with your environment Simply put, it measures an individual’s intellectual, analytical, logical and rational abilities

7 IQ vs. EQ Emotional intelligence (EQ)
Focuses on the ability to be aware of, understand and manage both your own and others’ emotions in order to adapt to life pressures Simply put, it measures an individual’s ability to read situations, connect with others and take charge of your own life
