It’s also known as tropical grassland, because of the tall grass and scattered trees. Wet and dry climates are most common in the tropical savanna. Always warm, the lowest is about 70 degrees Fahrenheit and the highest is about 85 degree Fahrenheit. The tropical savanna’s environment is very high in biodiversity. The largest region is on middle and south Africa.

Temperate ranges in the many different regions of the tropical savanna. As well as the precipitation. The soil in each of these regions can cause the differentiation of precipitation in the different locations.

The dominant flora in the tropical savanna is fire resistant and drought tolerant shrubs, and highly elevated grass. The trees are isolated along with the shrubs. Since the trees are isolated, the tropical savanna is an open area filled with the tall grass.

The dominant fauna in the tropical savanna are the hoofed mammals which include antelope, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, rhinos, giraffes, and elephants which are the herbivores. The dominant mammal carnivores are lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.

The biota of the tropical savanna are tall trees and tall grass. Only a few trees are around. The elephant and giraffe are fit for this environment. The tall trees are for food source. There are only a few trees around because of the lions, leopards and many more animals which is fit for their hunting. To survive most animals migrate to different places which helps the growth of new organism and life.

The factors that can affect the tropical savanna and its organisms living in it are unseasonably warm temperatures, seasonal rainfall which can be too high or low which can cause floods or droughts, and fires that can be set by lightning can be harmful to the organisms, but at the same time very helpful for the re-growth of others.
