December 8, 1886: Birth He was born in Guanajuato City, Guanajuato to Diego and Maria Barrientos. He had a twin named Jose Carlos, who died at 16 months due to infections. 1907- Europe He and his family moved to Paris, France. They lived their for fourteen years while he went to school. Autumn 1922- Founding of Technical School Founded The Revolutionary Union of Technical Workers, Painters and Sculptures. Later that year, Diego joined the Mexican Communist Party. Autumn of 1927- October Revolution Diego celebrated the 10 th Anniversary of The October Revolution. He was invited to paint a mural for the Red Army Club in Moscow, Russia. August 21, 1929- 3 rd Marriage Diego and Frida Kahlo were married twice during their love affair. Diego was 36 and was painting his first mural in the amphitheater of the National Preparatory School when he and Frida first met. November 1957- Death Diego died at age 71 He died from heart failure, only to die with out his lover, Frida Kahlo, who died 3 years before.
