2. Description of the technology The designed packer is reusable. It can be hydraulic or hydro mechanical. The packer is fixed in a tube due to a patented method of fastening without anchors. It can be easily removed from the well and repositioned there without damaging the pipe. The device size may range on request, from 146 to 295 mm (casing string size dependent). The working pressure can be increased from 100 to 300-400 atmospheres. The packer reacts to pressure drops directed downwards and upwards. 650-1200 mm weight: 30-260 kg

3. Applicability of the technology in Kazakhstan Packer can be use during well drilling, as a valve in an open borehole.
