1. The National Gallery of London

2. The National Gallery is an art museum on Trafalgar Square, London, opposite the Nelson’ Column. It was founded in 1824. It has over 2,300 paintings, from Leonardo Da Vinci to Van Gogh.

3. It is the fourth most visited art museum in the world, after the Musée du Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the British Museum.

4. The National Gallery hosts the national collection of Western European painting from the 13th to the 19th centuries. Each area is divided into different periods as shown in this map.
