Blueprint for Student Center Building What we hope to build on campus for students… This would be a round four level building in the center of campus with easy access in and out with free programs.

What We Think The Recreation Building Would Look Like

Ideas for our new College's Student Center: The building will boast free-play pool, foosball, air hockey, and table tennis. It provides a relaxing atmosphere for studying, enjoying the company of friends, watching television, or playing video games. It will also host a 24 hour store.

Level 1: Athletic center and activities Level 2: Sports bar and entertainment center Level 3: Café, Internet bar and oxygen bar Level 4: Study and open view of the city plus relaxation room.

Rock Climbing Room, Full Size Basketball Court, and open courts for volleyball, dodge ball, and separate courts for tennis and racket ball. A full size swimming pool and a fully functional 24 hour weight/exercise room with TV Level 1: Athletic Center and Activities

Lounge: Pool Tables, Grill/Cookout area, Big screen TV, Poker Tables, Internet Gaming areas, Putt-Putt Golf. Karaoke Stage, Dancing Area, and Poker Tables. Level 2: Sports Bar and Entertainment Center

Level 3: Café, Internet Bar and Oxygen Bar A café with related devices to calm your nerves with modern functions like personal Wireless Internet connections and leather couches to hang out on. Great to visit with friends and meet new people.

Level 4: Study and open view of the city relaxation room. A room with plants, futons and natural surroundings that emphasizes the idea of “back-to- nature” with a panoramic view of the city.

How will the college pay for this?

Private party funding from local community businesses and private associations. Selling advertisements to make money for Student Center Money from groups like D.A.R.E or MADD and other Coalitions. promising to have a drug free college activity center

City Hall funding. Getting grants from the state athletic board. Private citizens and alumni donations And a lot of fundraisers. Having students volunteer to sell there art work and donate profits to the College.

Why local businesses would want to invest? ** To support employees’ continuing education ** To support community education efforts ** To support research and development

Actives already being held by local business in town. “That could be willing to promote and help raises money for the college.”

Has set up a program for college students can participate between the facility on campus and at The Peak’s climbing wall. Students receive discounted rates and promotional material for the event. The Peak rock climbing wall *students always receive a 25% discount.

Is hosting a “college night” for students. Currently they have scheduled comedy- improve night on the every 3 rd Tuesday. On every other Saturday evening The Metro Coffee Company *Live Music and *10% Discount are given to CC students

The Wonder Bar, will be having live bands or a DJ every other Thursday night. Non-alcoholic drinks will be served along with food items. Special events and themes can be setup by coordinating with the management. The Wonder Bar

There is a lack of activities for students to get involved with, as well as a lack of information distributed to the students on existing options. The Problem at Casper College

We are proposing a development plan for implementing a better program of activities, having a better way to distribute student activity information, and establishing a new Student Center. Solution For Our College
