3 Purpose of small scale research Research will be done before and after each short term meeting (Austria, Norway, etc.) It will mainly serve as a tool for internal evaluation (have we met our goals?) It will also serve as an intellectual output that is beyond plagiarism and upgrades the quality of the results

4 Research questions 1st research question: Do students know what internet addiction is about? We will also check for awareness. 2nd research question: Have students experienced internet addiction? 3nd research question: Do students know what to do if they (or their friends) experience this?

15 Synopsis of student’s profile From all 5 countries, a few more from Greece and Norway Mostly 15-16 years old (51%), many (42%) a bit older 17-18 Girls 49%, boys 51% 91% use the internet daily or many times a day They mostly access the internet at home (80%) and anywhere (76%) 31% spend 1-2 hours, 43% 2-5 h, 18% over 5h
