4 The Beginning...  1905 – Paul Harris founded Rotary  Four members – met in rotation

5 First Four Members Gus Loehr, First President Silvester Schiele, Hiram Shorey, Paul Harris  Fellowship would not bond a group  Purpose was needed

7 Women in Rotary  1987 - Women were allowed  1987 – President Sylvia Whitlock  Rotary Club of Duarte California.  Today, women serve all leadership positions.

21 The Four Way Test This is the Rotarian moral and ethical code for personal and business relationships.

22  A Rotarian must give of his/her time, talents, and treasures: –In community work –In social work –In Club and District activities

23  Initiation Fee$25  Annual Dues$400  Quarterly, semi-annually, or annually  Dues must be paid on time.

24  Attendance strongly encouraged  A minimum of 50% is expected.  Make up meetings – within 14 days  Proof of make up is required.
