KAPUŠIANSKY HRAD built based on an earlier Slavonic settlement in the 13th century. in the 14th century, fight Matúš Čak against Charles Robert of Anjou led to its destruction. in the 15th century was due to family Kapiovců re-built and completed with strong fortifications. in the 18th century was destroyed. ŠARIŠSKY HRAD located on the top of a volcanic hill 570 m above sea level. other names - 1245 castrum Sarus or in 1312 castrum de Saarus is one of the largest medieval castle in Slovakia. king's castle, it was the seat of kings at the time stayed in Šariš (Belo IV., Stefan, Ladislav IV.). in 1660 it was damaged with the explosion of a deposit of gun powder.

HRAD PLAVEČ ruins of a castle from 13th century, lies in northeast part of Slovakia, between Šariš and Spiš region. situated on the above the village Plaveč. during the activity of the late Hussite soldiers, it was the residence of their leader Peter Aksamit. destroyed by fire in 1856. 5. ZBOJNÍCKY HRAD near Ruská Nová Ves, 661 m above sea level. built in 1298. many times damaged a repaired. Soós live there. broken down in 1715.

6. ZBOROV situated 10km from Bardejov. it protected the way to Poland. the oldest mention is from 1250. it is also called “Makovica“ according to nobleman Mako, which was the first owner of this castle. Seredyovci made strong fortification. destroyed in 1648.
