5 What is Gray Water?  Wastewater that is collected separately from a sewage flow that does not contain industrial chemicals, hazardous wastes, or wastewater from toilets  Does not include in-house systems

8 How Will Gray Water Be Used?  Subsurface Only  Irrigation of plants not to be consumed by humans

11 Permitting  No DEQ review for in-house recycle systems  No DEQ review for retro fits to existing approved wastewater systems  New gray water reviewed by DEQ and permitted by the county

12 Waste Segregation  Need an approved wastewater disposal system  May include kitchen waste

13 Gray Water and Public Wastewater Connections  Need the approval of the local entity
