SPIRITUAL WEAPONS: TESTIMONY
2
Testimony is to make a statement based on personal knowledge.
3
It is simply saying, “Here is what happened to me.”
4
In the OT they called the tablets with the 10 commandments on them the Testimony.
5
1 Corinthians 3:16 tells us, “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s Temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?”
6
BC The Cross AC
7
An atheist or satan can refute any other thing- Bible, history, etc
8
but they CANNOT refute the true testimony of a follower of Christ.
9
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
10
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem
11
and you will be my witnesses in in all Judea
12
and you will be my witnesses in in all Samaria
13
and you will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth
14
We need supernatural power to confirm our testimony.
15
The Holy Spirit makes Jesus real TO us and then He makes Jesus real THROUGH us!
16
Our total life is our testimony.
17
Psalm 107:2-“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.”
18
We are directed to share our testimony first in a familiar environment.
19
God gives a call to constant readiness
20
When God’s people witness, the plan works.
21
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. Ps. 19:14
