Disneyland Park, originally Disneyland, is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
It is located 35 miles southwest of Los Angeles.

3. FACTS
The Matterhorn Bobsleds coaster was the first tubular steel roller coaster in the world when it opened in 1959.

The park sits on 160 acres of land, but only 85 acres are open to the public.
Disneyland is home to more than 40 rides and attractions.

4. HISTORY
Opened on July 17, 1955
It is the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.
In its more than 55 year history, the park has entertained more than 515 million guests.

For $150, guests can own a piece of Disneyland by purchasing a hexagonal brick that lines the path between Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.
