The Appalachian Mountains are in the eastern part of the United States.

The Appalachian Mountains start in Alabama, go through Georgia, all the way up through Maine! Georgia Alabama Maine

The Appalachian Mountains are covered in trees.

6 The Rocky Mountains are in the western part of the United States.

7 Rocky Mountains The Rocky Mountains go through Montana, down through Wyoming and Colorado, into New Mexico. Montana Wyoming Colorado New Mexico

8 Rocky Mountains The Rocky Mountains are covered in rock and snowy peaks.
