ROTH ESTATE 1 CELEBRATE YOUR HERITAGE …IN A KEG

ROTH ESTATE The Inspiration Roth Estate was founded in 2002 by Ted Simpkins. The first release from Vintage 2000 was a proprietary red blend called “Heritage”. When Ted created this wine and the winery, he wanted to pay tribute to his mother Rose Roth and his family’s heritage. Roth Heritage represents the perseverant and relentless spirit of his immigrant mother Rose, who in 1938 was asked by her family to leave her home village in Switzerland to help her sister who had immigrated to America. Finding her new life during the later years of the Great Depression and on the doorsteps of WWII, Rose made her way to New Bedford, MA where she worked in a munitions factory, raised and provided for her son. Ted’s family heritage is a blend of Swiss, German and English roots. Proud, determined immigrants that forged the back bone of America’s great accomplishments and heritage. They were the dedicated masses that put their workmanship to task in shaping the proud heritage of “Product of USA”. Lauded with a determined mind, bold character and relentless spirit, he forged a colorful career in the wine industry. Roth "Heritage” celebrates Ted’s appreciation of family, heritage, country and great wines.

ROTH ESTATE Why Heritage in a Keg? Wine on tap is better for profits and better for the planet. LESS WASTE, MORE GREEN One re-usable barrel holds the equivalent of 26 bottles. Not bottles, no corks, no labels or cardboard. Less to manufacture, less to ship, less to store, and no trash. Wine on tap: saving the planet, glass by glass. A PERFECT POUR, EVERY TIME Inert, flavorless, colorless and odorless gases preserve our wines as they are pushed through our barrels, eliminating oxidation and preventing spoilage. The 130 th glass is as fresh as the first no matter how long it takes to empty the barrel. STREAMLINED SERVICE No corks to pull, no bottles to stock, inventory or recycle. Wine service just got a whole lot more efficient.

ROTH ESTATE Keg Wine is fresher Our stainless steel kegs go through a 14-step cleaning and QA process that has passed the test of even the most rigorous winemaking standards. This all goes to ensure that the wines underneath the bar are exactly the way the winemaker intended. With no corkage or oxidation, wines in keg will stay fresher, longer. An inert gas, which pumps the wine through the tap, also protects the wine from spoiling. This means less wine is wasted in the restaurant and the wine in the glass always tastes great! Keg Wine reduces carbon footprint Skipping the excess packaging and production of traditional glass bottles means that each one of our 100% reusable kegs is significantly reducing greenhouse gases. A keg also cuts back the solid waste that comes from recycling bottles and corks at the end of a busy night. Keg Wine more options at the bar or table Because of the efficiency kegs offer, restaurants will have more flexibility with their wine program It’s easy to get just a taste, a glass, a half-carafe or a full carafe, You’ll also have more by the glass options to pair perfectly throughout your meal. Feeling non-committal? You won’t have to commit to a full bottle if you want to mix it up and try a few different wines.

ROTH ESTATE THE UPSIDE: Profitability, Quality, Savings Here’s how wine on tap can boost your bottom line. 7 ROTH ESTATE WINE DRAFT SYSTEM: YOURLOW-MAINTENANCE FRIEND Wine draft system parts are different than beer draft system parts. See the Micro Matic wine on tap parts catalogue for more information. Free Flow Wines NEVER recommends replacing a beer line with a wine line. Instead, Free Flow recommends designing and installing a separate, wine-only, draft system with Micro Matic Matic. These parts (lines, shanks, faucets, etc) will be able to withstand the higher alcohol and higher acid found in wine versus beer. The higher acidity and higher alcohol in wine, versus the high yeast and sugar content in beer, keeps the wine lines cleaner for longer than a beer line. Silvertap recommends cleaning wine lines once every three months. A certified micro Matic technician can clean wine lines rapidly and inexpensively. INERT GAS: A BARREL’S BEST FRIEND Premium wine is “pushed” out of a barrel by inert gases; gases that preserve Silvertap’s fine wines as they flow out of the barrel. Free Flow Wines recommends that restaurants use “Guinness Gas,” a blend a 75% Nitrogen and 25% CO2. Food-grade Nitrogen and CO2 are odorless, colorless and flavorless gases. Pushing wine out of a barrel with Nitrogen preserves the wine. A small amount of CO2 blended with the Nitrogen helps preserve the freshness of the wine, for months at a time. Argon or food-grade Nitrogen gas may also be used to push fine wines from barrels, through “Guinness Gas” is the preferred solution. These gases are available from any company specializing in beer or soda gases.
