3 Background Commonly refferd to as Satan or the Devil. Tried to exalt himself above God's power and become more powerful. 666 is derived from when Lucifer made a demon and God incaged him and it would only open in sixty-six of the six hundred seals are broken

4 Biblical Significance He is believed to be an angel who rebelled against God and also the one who spoke through the serpent and seduced Eve into disobeying God's command. His ultimate goal is to lead people away from the love of God. Satan was among the highest of all angels and the "brightest in the sky". His pride is considered a reason why he would not bow to God as all other angels did, but sought to rule heaven himself.

5 Story/Myths Lucifer claims that he can’t be killed. According to the book of Genesis Lucifer is able to take the form of a serpent. Lucifer was above every other angel in heaven. His appearance was beautiful and dazzling. He radiated light and glory. He was covered with gold and shimmering jewels. Lucifer was the Chief Covering angel and he worked in the throne room of God.

6 Symbols The devil’s trap is a mystical symbol used to immobilize and control demons. The devil’s traps seen in Supernatural all originate from The Lesser Key of Solomon, which is a Grimoire, or magical text, written in the 17th century. It contains rituals and spells for invoking and controlling both demons and angels.

7 Strengths and Weaknesses In the Bible it is said that Satan only weakness if the power of God. It is also said that Satan gains strength from finding weakness of in people.

8 Macbeth Quote "Angels are still bright, though the brightest fell. Though all things foul would wear the brows of grace, Yet grace must still look so.“ All angels are individually bright but even though Lucifer fell from heaven. Things must go on.
